Shared Stories

by Lisa Bagley

In 2023, I was diagnosed and treated for cancer. During my recovery, I created an art series, “Hopes and Fears: My Diary of Cancer,” as a cathartic illustration of my experiences & mental struggles with life and mortality. While cancer is devastating, I was comforted by stories that were shared with me. My “Shared Stories” exhibit honors those personal accounts of cancer and highlights the ubiquitous themes of love and compassion throughout those journeys. Over 40% of our population will be diagnosed with cancer in their lives.
Please consider making a donation to the Moffitt's Good Samaritan Fund which provides support for patients and their families.
You can also participate in my art exhibit! Honoring a friend, loved one, or yourself: Tie a knot in the “Fight Cancer” Ribbon Dress, Add your own Story to the exhibit.
